Jeni Barovian

I've spent my career at the center of the technology buildouts that define modern infrastructure. I was there when 5G was just a roadmap. When edge computing was a whiteboard argument. When AI went from niche to the thing every data center is being built around. At Intel and Altera, I ran product lines, led global teams, navigated M&A, and helped grow businesses to billions in revenue.

I stepped back intentionally after Altera's PE-backed spinout from Intel — for the first time in my adult life. I visited four continents, trekked Patagonia, traveled iconic rivers, spent time with my daughters, and did something the lightning pace of that world rarely allowed: think deeply about where the world is going and my own path in it.

I co-founded TechArena Advisory to do the work I find most energizing: advising technology companies on strategy, product, and organizational transformation. Working on hard problems alongside brilliant people. Staying close to an industry I know deeply, with more intention about how I spend my time.

I also serve as a board director — including the Case Alumni Foundation, where I help steward a $100M endowment — and work with students, lecturing and mentoring on technology, leadership, and innovation. I'm an angel investor actively building a thesis around edge computing and AI infrastructure. And I've started writing about the things that don't get said often enough in this industry: the physical realities of the data center buildout, what AI transformation actually looks like from inside an organization, and what it means to lead well when everything is accelerating.
