I am a researcher of new and emerging technologies, working in the Dell Technologies research office. Currently my main focus is on quantum computing, both gate-based and annealing architectures, and how they fit into hybrid, heterogeneous compute environments.
Before coming to tech, I was a mathematician trained in geometric group theory and low dimensional topology. I completed my PhD in 2018 with adviser Genevieve Walsh at Tufts University. I am also an award-winning instructor at the undergraduate level who is very interested in education and pedagogy.
