Bob Rogers is a leading figure in the nascent world of Artificial Intelligence, and as well as being the Co-founder of Oii he is also PhD, Expert in Residence for AI at UCSF Smarter Health and was Chief Data Scientist in the Data Center Group at Intel as well as co-founder and Chief Scientist at Apixio, a Healthcare AI company. Bob’s mission is to put powerful analytics and AI tools in the hands of all decision makers.Bob began his career as an astrophysicist, developing computer models of physical processes near supermassive black holes. He co-authored the books, Artificial Neural Networks: Forecasting Time Series and “De-mystifying Big Data and Machine Learning for Healthcare“. He is a member of the Board of Advisors to the Harvard Institute for Applied Computational Science. He received his BA in physics at UC Berkeley and his PhD in physics at Harvard.
